I didn't know this about Alexis Grace
Been quite awhile since I had seen Alexis Grace in xxx videos I had found out she actually died back in 2016 due complications with asthma. Did anyone know about this? Really sad.

Re: I didn't know this about Alexis Grace
ever since their clip4sale page has slowed down considerably. there was a fetish model/porn star (Pantyhose Adrianne) she was friends with Izzy from Pantyhose Addicts she murdered her husband and then killed herself in a murder suicide back in 2012. i think she was one of the first to start doing pantyhose stuff on the internet.

i love a woman's nylon feet!

Yeah, the porn world must have a toll on mental health. Even on men, there was this guy who was quite often starring in Footsie Babes and Love Her Feet scenes who died in weird circumstances. Bill Bailey was his name?

I hope I'm wrong, but, unfortunately, also Julie Jodar (aka Julie Skyhigh) is no longer with us.
Appears to have committed suicide in June 2018.

Well, for sure it's not easy to work and be constantly discriminated against for what you do. It's tough, and perhaps some fail to live it in a good way.Vin wrote: Mon Jun 28, 2021 1:09 pm Yeah, the porn world must have a toll on mental health. Yeah I knew about the Alexis & Adrianne, truly sad. If I recall Adrianne's happened on Christmas, she had just sent her kids away to stay with family. Apparently her ex-husband was extremely abusive.
I remember reading somewhere about a girl who killed herself due to cyber bullying cause she didn't want to do a video with a black guy. People are cruel as we all have a preferences and things we just won't do. Adult entertainers get no respect, easy money but a hard life. Guys thinks porn stars will just willy-nilly fuck them cause they do it on screen but these girls have rules they must abide by in the industry and just because she does porn as work doesn't mean she's easy or just gonna fuck anyone.

She did not want to risk the possibility of her getting a sexually transmitted disease from him, so she chose to decline the offer.
People assumed it was about race, but it was about self preservation.

Re: I didn't know this about Alexis Grace
Part of the problem with the adult industry is that it's not well structured. There isn't a real safety net. It pays well for some and for others it does not. Then the way a lot of it is displayed is inherently jarring and nasty to those in polite conversation.
Another issue is the way people treat these individuals in every day life. They are SEVERELY discriminated against both by everyday individuals and by Governments.
During 2020, there was funding that was made available for Sole Proprietors in the United States by the SBA, Small Business Administration. Sole Proprietors were able to access this money to keep their businesses from falling apart.
But there was a scandal that was not reported by the news. People in the Adult Industry, who were Sole Proprietors, were being denied this crucial funding. Legally, they had a right to it as much as the woodworker next door. In practice, they were being made to suffer because of professional choices. The practice was illegal. Lawsuits were had, and I'm not sure what was done about it.
Most people like sex or sexual things. And yet people like to kick them to the fucking curb because of the things they do. Do I like sex work or sex workers? Nah, it generally disgusts me. BUT it's so hypocritical of these people who discriminate against them while at the same time preaching, "Black Lives matter, All Lives Matter, we need to be better at helping the planet," blah blah blah. Just lip service.
This is a breakdown of the rates, at leastin America, of what Adult Actresses make.

In my opinion, the first thing that needs to be changed, is how to support the talent. It's one of my new goals in my work. Give the talent a good wage for work, build a good reputation, etc.
Second thing, the talent needs to be more respectful. Having interviewed and hired lots of women, most of them don't understand how to connect with their male counterparts on a deep level, which is necessary when you're working personally with them. It's almost like they don't see us as Humans, but more like an animal.
One could also say the same for Males, and that is possible. I don't have data on that, though.
Basically, everyone needs to do better.

I totally agree that the whole industry needs to support our talents, psychologically in particular.
That's why I highly recommend supporting, at least by letting everyone know they exist, this association:
https://pineapplesupport.org/
Twitter: https://twitter.com/PineappleYSW
They offer free consulting services to talents in need and organize many events on that matter.
I have the pleasure to personally know the founder, Leya Tanit, who was actually a fetish model before doing this. She's a truly splendid person, totally dedicated to this project. They helped many talents in need
Follow them and spread the word, it will make a difference
