Last night, some friends and I were watching a movie, and after the movie happened upon a show called "Sex Sent Me To The ER." It's a pseudo-documentary show on TLC that features dramatizations of couples who were somehow injured during sex (not just injuries resulting from sex, but someone burns their foot in a campfire while making out, guy has sex with his girlfriend while skydiving but fails to deploy his chute in time, etc.). The show's a complete train wreck and I'm ashamed to have sat through an episode or two.
Anyway, last night's episode featured a woman who was rushed to the hospital after passing out in a bathroom during a funeral. (The husband and wife, after she was revived, admitted that they were having sex in the bathroom, where they tried to use a vasodilator cream in lieu of Viagra. I really hope this is mostly fake.)
During the segment, the woman is first dressed in basic funeral attire - a black knee-length dress, black nylons and low heels or maybe flats. After she's in the (re-enacted) operatory, her shoes are gone. There are a few lingering shots of her hosed feet at the edge of the screen. Better yet, as her concerned husband looks on from the foot of the hospital bed, he strokes her legs and feet constantly.
Let's just say that it made the rest of the episode bearable!
