Barefoot girl in old 90210 episode

I am not sure if I am placing this in the appropriate forum. Have a look at this video from 3:42 to 3:47. This is from the second episode from the original Beverly Hills 90210 series. I recall seeing this episode way back when, and I was really intrigued by the barefoot girl walking though the hallway. She is wearing a nice short dress and is completely barefoot. Perhaps she is carrying her shoes, but I think she's carrying her books.

I recall being totally in awe of this scene. I mean she was obviously an extra. But what made her go barefoot? Was she told to, was it scripted, was it something she did on her own? It's just so intriguing.



I know it's TV, but I imagine myself in that school on that day. I so would have followed her around, gawking. It brings back memories of my own high school days around '76 when this attractive girl a couple of years older than me came to school barefoot several days. I'd walk behind her trying to hode the wood I was sporting.
