I remember one night going to a New Years Eve party with my ex-wife and she got all dolled up for the event. About half way through the party she kicked off her shoes and never put them on. That included going home which meant she went nylon-footed out of the civic center to the car. Everyone was shocked she would do that...

We live in Maine so it was -20 below (f) with snow on the ground.
