Believe me, this is your board, and I am very thankful that you've provided us with an oasis here, but are we not to verbally express why we like the posting? If this is true, then I will only use the "Thank you" button. I guess your intent is to keep down the clutter, so people will not have to sift through a bunch of posts to get to the links.

Not exactly that. What we (because we talked about this with the moderators first) want to reduce is the number of short and useless messages. It's more than fine if you want to comment a video, saying why you liked it...but we need to use the thanks feature if we just want to say "thank you, post more".

That's the meaning of it.
