Best as I can tell, and maybe someone can correct me as needed...it seems to be a late-night French TV show where pretty, well-dressed girls just read fiction for whatever insomniacs happen to be tuned in. The shoeplay/shoes-off moments seem to be more serendipity than intentional, though obviously that's what draws us in. I'm guessing they could have the girls read the phonebook for the same effect, but at least literature gives it the appearance of value.
It's the kind of program that I doubt would exist in the US, because people would complain about it objectifying women. Even though frankly, cable news networks do the same thing (hearing the bad news from a pretty blonde in a short skirt beats some frumpy dude doing it).

"... guys who buy Playboy for the articles, not the photos..."
I haven't opened a Playboy in a a *long* time but I always thought this was nowhere near as absurd as people make it sound. Playboy did indeed have excellent articles and pretty frequent interviews serious literary figures like Thomas Pynchion and Don Delillo. To be perfectly honest I'd sooner read Playboy for the articles than The New Yorker, let alone worse-than-worthless compost like Time or Newsweek.

Uh, OK, what should I write here...
Sweet and to the point:
My strong preference is for seated, both-feet shoeplay. Dangling, and shoeplay with open-toed shoes or mules, I'm afraid don't do as much for me.

n...a...r... 10000, You misunderstand. I was not knocking Playboy articles, just emphasizing the fact that I am sure more guys buy it for the photos. Just as this French TV show may have some guys who actually enjoy the classic literature being read (they do select important works)--comparable to books on tape--and do not really care about the sexy readers other than their voices.

Oh, no worries Feeture Feature, I suppose I was just being pedantic. The reason I misread your comment is that for a brief time in pop culture "reading Playboy for the articles" was was an extremely common punchline in sitcoms and standup routines, to the point that it became a huge cliche. (This was right around the time every hack comedian had a joke about his wife/girlfriend asking "Do I look fat in these jeans?".)
The joke was supposed to be that it was highly implausible that anyone would read Playboy for the articles, and that this was just a rationalization to look at porn.

Christelle is so awesome. She plays with her shoes in all three new clips. And even if her shoeplay is more subtle and appears in short bursts rather than long dangles, I like her way way better than Lora. It's those incredible hosed legs, beautiful thighs, those sexy movements and her more womanly looks as opposed to the more girlish Lora.
That's exactly my thoughts too, she's more wild and unpredictable than the other girls that makes her shoeplay way more exciting, she kinda reminds me of Faustine Bollaert in her golden eramuch2shy2001 wrote:And even if her shoeplay is more subtle and appears in short bursts rather than long dangles, I like her way way better than Lora.

Also personnaly I really prefer her classic black suede heels (and they are very loose too!) instead of the generic platform heels Lora always wear, gives a more classy look.
According to the website there is one part remaining for this reading, hopefully online tomorrow and still with Christelle as the reader, so I'll wait until tomorrow before uploading my video capture.

Yes, I am no fan of those platform shoes, too. To me they always look clunky and don't allow the same variety of shoeplay.nikos99 wrote:And even if her shoeplay is more subtle and appears in short bursts rather than long dangles,

Yeah, let's keep our fingers crossed that she's on again - and hopefully back soon with more of the goodness.
