which is the simplest way to record webcams and not to make very big files?

I use jaksta recorder.

But you can use potplayer:
1. Find the videos IP adress
2. Set the player to splitt up the video into smaller recordred files.
Its a pain to use, put an option.

I will splitt up the files in the future
