Thank you for posting this.

I've never understood why the wide angle shot often shows the man and a woman sat facing each other at a table that is far too wide for her to play footsie with him.

Yeah noticed that too. I guess they were using that large table to show his wealth or she had giraffe legs?

It always bugs me when that happens - and it happens a lot in these scenes!

It takes away from the realism of the scene if it's obvious that there's no way she could reach him from across the table.
