[ENG] Farewell John Ritter (1948 - 2003)

Post by Dead Parrot »

American actor and comedian John Ritter died yesterday of a heart condition. He was 54 years old. He was best known for his portrayal of Jack Tripper on the 1970's comedy "Three's Company".

In our community on this website, he is also known for being on the receiving end of a great round of undertable footsie during the Three's Company episode "Jack Moves Out". That scene was the beginning of many an obsession, including mine.

Thank you for that John, and for all your work over the years. You will be missed. May your family and friends find comfort in the spirit of laughter and fun you gave to the world.

Hello Dead Parrot. You are right, Mr. Ritter will be missed very much. I still remember the first time I saw the episode "Jack Moves Out". It is a classic!! To hear of his death was very sad. I know to reply to this posting is old, but well worth mentioning anyhow.
