I hear surprisingly very little about this story in the footlover world, considering that depending on the version, the last fifth of the tale is dedicated exclusively to feet. In terms of different types of foot fetishes, the "trying on shoe(s)" part has always been my favorite. Though there are some great "glass-slipper-search" scenes in different versions of Cinderella(and IRL, too), it seems as though finding a modern decent shoe search scene in Cinderella is somewhat hard to come by these days. Either they're half-assed, or they replace the glass slipper with something else, like a ring, or a cell phone.

Offhand I'd say there may be some reluctance to sexualize what's supposed to be a children's story.

Let me hasten to write that, yes, I know in the original story the evil stepsisters mutilate their own foot in order to fit into the slipper.

However, most "children's stories" are pretty hard core when you think beyond Disney:
1. Hansel and Gretel - Cannibalism.
2. Snow White - Murder.
3. The Wizard of Oz - Death, flying monkeys, and F5 tornados...oh my.

I'll have to think about what a foot and shoe fetish XXX rated Cinderella story would look like.

Perhaps, but people tend to fetishize/sexualize things from their childhood. The porn industry is rife with it, and it tends to be in big demand.
