Feet Scare UK?

why are uk Bid TV presenters afraid to show their feet on camera. I just looked at a forum user's youtube profile, Danglingfan, and the woman on the most recent video was a little nervous to show her feet on tv. She's the fourth or maybe fifth presenter to be afraid to do so. They still take off their shoes, but they act like it's offensive and apologize frequently when they do have to have the camera close up to an item where their feet may be.

Is it because they are self concious of their feet or is it because it is wildly unprofessional to not wear shoes. Don't they walk around in public with their sandals?

Furthermore...did someone from the UK call in and request more shoeless action to further scare the presenters, just like here in the States? Today we have Alicia Perez and more recently Debbie Flint who frequently shoeplay and it seems like they are laxing on the "hiding" but now we have Bid TV presenters apologizing for exposier. Shame.
