Universes of these stories

Post by OceanWaves3947 »

As far as I know, the Maggie stories, the Two Stephanies (Steffy and Stevie) saga, and Foot Crush all seem to be set in the same universe. I’m wondering if the Erica Dawson story is also in the same universe as these aforementioned stories.

Meanwhile, an interesting consideration; if it is true that there is an infinite number of universes, as some scientists seem to think likely, then pretty much all fiction would be real in some other universe. So every story on this forum that anyone has ever come up with and written, in this section of the forum, is actually happening gazzillions of light-years away. On some other Earth, somewhere far, far from us, Maggie and Lisa are actually shoeplaying away in their office, while Stevie and Steffy bond over their shared love of shoeplay, as do Sylvia and Alex. And surely, it does not matter whether or not JoshJack, the author of the stories in this universe, meant for the Erica Dawson story to take place in the same universe as the Maggie and Two Stephanies sagas. In an infinite number of universes, surely, there is one in which Maggie, Lisa, Steffy, Stevie, Alex, Sylvia, Erica Dawson, Brenda Sheffield, et al. all coexist on the same planet, and shoeplay. Meanwhile, there are also other universes in which only one, or two, or three, or insert whatever number you please, of those above-mentioned characters exist, and shoeplay.

Knowing that all of these stories may very well be real, albeit indescribably far away, only makes me enjoy them all the more.

Great observation.

It is theorized that every instance that has more than one outcome results in the creation of different realities in form of parallel universes.

For example, you are at the grocery store and are trying to decide on whether to purchase an apple or an orange, and you choose the apple. At that very instance, another universe is created where you choose the orange. Therefore, every possible outcome in the history of the universe is accounted for in countless other universes.

However, these other universes are not light years away. They are, in essence, in the exact space that we are. Imagine having two televisions facing each other. The person on one television would not be able to see the person on the other television, even though they are to right next to each other. Same principle.

To your point, I suppose it is possible that every story ever written was, or will be a reality in another universe.

So somewhere out there, I've had (or will have) a three way with Olivia Wilde and Elizabeth Banks.

Actually, a few years ago joshjack and I had kind of tried stories where our characters, from our own "universes," dipped a toe in the world of the other. Honestly I'm still working on mine; I'd sort of determined the climax but it was working through the rising action that slowed me up, and I jumped headlong into a character that got me a few new stories' worth of material.
