"The Shoe" (1998) has a woman near end of movie sitting on a park bench and playing with one shoe with her bare feet. Whole movie is about Latvian soldiers trying to find who lost a woman's shoe on a beach, thinking a spy must have infiltrated into Latvia.

"The Last Plane to Baalbek" (1965) has heel pop by Rossana Podesta

The pilot for China Beach TV series (1988) has heel pop by Nan Woods

not sure, only seen vidcaps, think she's barefoot. She's sitting on someone's desk talking to them and has red or pink pants on and turqoise pumps, she is danglign and the camera fallows it as her pump falls off and she eventually picks it up.

I can't find "Light my Passion" anywhere. I wonder if the idea was shelved or it was never released? Anybody know??

Actually the same goes for several other movies I was looking for and came up empty; not offered by Netflix, Blockbuster, even ebay.

I did view "Fever Pitch" last night. I watched Drew Barrymore "chase" her high heel around under the desk. It was ok; but I prefer feet in nylons. Also no closeups, but I intend to play it again and see if I can "zoom" in.
Actually I sort of forgot about that scene and enjoyed the movie (sort of). Not too much on romantic comedies.

"Roman Holiday" was a little bit better. Too bad it was in b&w!! At least I didn't have to wait long to view the foot scene. It occurs at the very beginning of the movie. It was ok; Audrey Hepburn was a total babe in that movie; again I sort of forgot about the foot scene and just enjoyed the movie.

I have a couple more selections from the list above that I have ordered from Netflix, and 2 I bought from ebay dirt cheap. I will report on those when I can.

Light My Passion was definitely released. I found entries for VHS copies in a library in Australia and one in Spain but nothing for sale. I bought a bootleg DVD in the last 2 years sometime but it is no longer listed on that Web site, copyright holder must have found out and threatened them. Spanish title is Enciende mi pasion. I was thrilled to find it. It is filled with foot scenes but does not portray the guy with the foot fetish or the women in any particularly good ways.

Well, DP, all I can say is the courtship goes along rather normally but on the wedding night, the bride makes a strange discovery about her husband's tastes. Then there's the huge painting of HIS mother barefoot. And he goes slumming for feet at an unsavory drinking establishment. Sometimes he's reduced to shoe sniffing. It's a most unusual marriage in many ways. If you can find it, "Light My Passion" is a curiosity, only surpassed by "Diary of a Mad Old Man" and "Venus in Furs (American production)" for foot fetish emphasis.

Damn, it sounds, and looks, like it could have been a very sensual and unusual love story with a decent ending. However from your description it sounds like the same old shit: the fetish is played for laughs or mocked as perverse.

Oh well, one of these days someone will come up with a good script. (Yeah, I know, why don't I write it? Maybe when I get back my motivation?
