I totally understand your point-of-view, and if I didn’t know her personally, and didn’t know that she very likely is completely unfamiliar with the concept of shoeplay, or that it is even a thing, or has a following at all, I would think the same. I have pointed it out previously when other family members of mine have taken their footwear off and shoeplayed with it, and they didn’t mind or get creeped out one bit. In fact, in the case or one particular family member, it even became a running joke among the other members of my family who heard me remarking on how she often takes her flip-flops off by constantly referencing how she taies her flip-flops off, as well. So, in that case, the family shoeplayer herself did not mind one bit, and the rest of my family followed along and turned it into a running joke to remark to her that she had taken her flip-flops off when they caught her doing so. And this cousin is a lot less likely to know that shoeplay is a thing, or that it has a following, than that family member. She is very innocent, which, I guess, is a big part of why she appeals to me so much â€â€￾ as I know that her shoeplaying is genuinely done for comfort, as opposed to doing it to turn someone on (which I actually am almost unattracted to, as the innocent desire for comfort, and its later being reached, play a large role in my adoration for shoeplay).

Now that the weather is getting warmer where I live, I am as excited about the shoeplay that I expect to find as a little kid on Christmas morning. The anticipation makes me giddy. I truly cannot wait. This is going to be the best shoeplay summer of my life. I won’t make the same mistake I made last summer, when I got caught recording shoeplay at a mall. I will not record, or, if I have to, I will make sure that my phone is hidden by hiding it in my pocket with only the lens poking out, or putting it into the container in my backpack, so that the screen is invisible because it is pressed up on the inner side of the container, so no one can see what is going on, but the lens can catch the amazing shoeplay action through the holes in the outer side of the container. I also can’t wait for my shoeplaying cousin, the one whom is thirteen years older than me who I’ve mentioned on this forum already, to start wearing flip-flops and backless sandals again, and begin shoeplaying with them again like crazy, as I know she doubtlessly will. I can’t wait to candidly record this same cousin’s shoeplay, as I have tried to do already, but failed, as I have mentioned already in another thread. I might even make an innocent comment about it, such as “You took your flip-flops/sandals/shoes off!â€Â￾ or ask her why she did so, to strike up a conversation about her fantastic shoeplay, and why she does it. This cousin and I have a good, close relationship, and she often greets me by just coming right up to me and giving me a hug, which I reciprocate by hugging her back, when we meet after having not met for a while. So I think our relationship is definitely close enough, and she loves and trusts me enough (and I love and trust her enough), that she won’t mind one bit if I make a remark about what she’s doing with her feet and footwear. I expect she’ll probably laugh about it, and may even think it’s sweet that I care enough about her to notice.

Not only do I love watching others, mainly girls, play with their shoes, but I sometimes shoeplay myself, as well (I am a guy). I often take my sneakers off when I am sitting in a public place, and my feet are too hot, to cool them off. I start by heelpopping, and then take my feet out of my shoes and rest my stocking feet on top of my shoes, and often cross my ankles in my stocking feet and let my toes wiggle around in the wind. Sometimes, when I wear slides or flip-flops, I slide my feet in and out of them, and sometimes take them completely off, shake my bare feet around in the air to feel a nice, cool breeze on them, and sometimes place my bare feet on top of them, as well. Most often, with flip-flops or slides, it is either because my feet are too hot in them, or if the strap(s) feel too constricting on my feet, or both. Sometimes, when I am taking any kind of footwear off, I rub my feet, either bare or stocking, together, as well, while they are suspended in the air, as it feels good.
Now, the interesting thing is that I am actually attracted to my own shoeplay, for all of the same reasons that I am attracted to girls’ shoeplay. The fact that I am doing it to be comfortable, and, therefore, can no longer take the discomfort that comes from keeping my footwear on, turns me on immensely, as well as the fact that, if I cannot actually smell them (which sometimes happens; I sometimes smell my feet as soon as I take my footwear off), I imagine how smelly and sweaty my feet must be at the moment, and that turns me on, as well.
Basically, I sort of think of myself from a third-person standpoint, and fantasize about being able to exit my body, if you will, and grab my own feet, and smell them and rub them and generally worship them, right after asking myself why I had taken my shoes off, and myself then responding “To be comfortableâ€Â￾ or “Because my feet were hotâ€Â￾ or “It feels so good to have them off!â€Â￾ or something of that nature.

Does anyone else here shoeplay? And is anyone else attracted to their own shoeplay? I know some female members on here have said that they shoeplay themselves, and are turned on by it. Perhaps this kind of thing is more common in females, and I am the exception. Who knows?

I actually found a text, or texts, from the early 1920’s describing dangling, in perfect detail. It describes how a woman heelpops out of her shoe, and then crosses her legs at the knees, and suspends the shoe on her toes. It even describes how her male significant other is enticed by her shoeplay show.

It seems to be a novel. The title of the book is The Girls, and the author is Edna Ferber.

Interestingly, the author herself is female, as opposed to a male with a fetish for shoeplay. So where did she get the inspiration to include this scene in her story? Did she know some men who enjoyed watching women play with their shoes? Did she herself shoeplay, or have female friends or acquaintances who did so? Either way, I doubt she just pulled the concept out of thin air to put it into her book. It was likely inspired by something â€â€￾ either by depictions in still earlier literature, or (and I think this is the more likely option) by experiences with shoeplay that she had had in her own life. This means that shoeplay was going on at least as far back as the early 1920’s and late 1910’s, and, very possibly, perhaps even earlier, as well.
