Does anybody here play counter-strike??

I was just interested in seeing whether some of you are gamers...particularly playing Counter-Strike. I'm just wondering....
I have a clan made up there and im kinda recruiting people now. I only take the best and those with very nice "kill:death" ratio.

Sorry WJ, the only experience I have that might even come close was playing Dungeons and Dragons as a teenager (and that was a
long time ago!).
I assume though you are talking about some sort of online RPG (Role Playing Game, not Rocket Propelled Grenade
)?

Counter-Strike is a popular first person shooter. Its an online game and you can be in a team. There are two teams; Terrorists and Counter-terrorists.
Terrorists have certain missions associated in some sort of destruction. Missions like "planting the bomb", "killing the VIP", "preventing hostages from Counter-terrorists".
Counter-terrorists have certain missions associated in preventing the Terrorists from doing something. Missions like "Preventing or defusing the bomb", "Rescuing hostages", "Escorting VIP".
All it is, is pretty much dispose of the other team and not to get killed. It's a very old game...made sometime at 1998? dunno...but it's very old and it was created by a bunch of fans of Half-Life (Counter-strike is a mod of Half-life).
I hope that helped explain stuff. I like this game.

Is the game set up so that one side has an advantage??
e.g. Some WWII games start with a clear advantage for Allied forces when taking on German forces.

lolz, I can't imagine that someone here never heard of Counter Strike, Half Life or anything.
Not that's it's bad or anything, just I find this amuzing.

I was just posting cause I recently started a clan [HOBO] Clan and im actually recruiting people now.
My rule is: 1) Just have more kills than deaths and u have a chance in getting in. I just need to see how well u do on your good days and on your bad days.
I thought this maybe a good place to start.

Of course i've heard of these games, but i don't play them a lot... i just don't have time. I prefer to play a couple of mathces in Nba Live 2005 or Pro Evolution Soccer 3 (the 4 will be out in these days
).
