Do you think that directors who direct these scenes are footsie fetishists too?They do such an awesome job of showing how erotic footsie can be.

There are undoubtedly directors out there with a foot fetish. Quint Tarantino comes to mind right offhand. I pretty sure Alfred Hitchcock had at least a shoe fetish, and I believe Cecil B. DeMille did as well.
By exposing their interests on the screen they have been able to influence women and sexuality in a way not previously possible. Just think of how many women imitated the breakthrough scene in Flashdance after they saw the movie?
Probably the biggest crop of foot fetish directors are in the B grade sex/thriller category. Movies like Killer Looks, Secret Games and such probably have a lot of kinky folks working on them. They churn these things out to fill video store shelves so we'll always have new scenes to look for.
Yes, they do a very good job on some of the scenes, and will continue to do so. Just showing a brief "blink and you'll miss it" scene puts the seed into the minds of the women who see it. This is a very good thing in my never to be humble opinion.
I have yet to see the "ultimate" scene, but I have my own ideas of what a B grade sex movie that focuses of female feet would look like.
