Lets make a deal?

I was sort of wondering if anyone out there has a good VHS to DVD recorder and if they were willing to do a little "barter". I have an excellent candid shoeplay video on VHS that I want to transfer to DVD before the tape gets worn out, damaged. The tape is irreplaceable; not available through the web anyway. What the deal is that if you want to record that tape onto disc for me you can keep the DVD copy of that particular clip or the entire tape. But in any event, I would still want the tape back. I am tempted to buy a VHS to DVD recorder but frankly I don't want to spend the $100 or so to do one tape and I am not going to turn the tape over to a commercial recorder for obvious reasons! Let me know if you might be interested.
