Not showing shoe removal during a footsie scene?

To me, it takes away the full potential of the scene by a little. Somes scenes like Three's Company, Sconosciutti 34, Dark Justice, etc. has the camera showing the shoe removal. Then you have scenes like Weekend At Bernies, How Funny Can Sex Be, etc. that show the foot coming from the shoe, but you dont see the shoe removed. Why do they show it sometimes? I'm guessing the director cuts it for time purposes, but it only takes a second for a woman to remove her shoe. Maybe it depends on the shoe like in How Funny Can Sex Be. She was wearing strappy heels and would be hard to take off so she probably had her foot out of her shoe when they shot the scene.

You forgot one great scene in my opinion.... "Bad Company"! In that one you see her removing the shoe... and yes... of course i DO agree with you...it adds so much to the scene... because while you see that.. you KNOW it will happen soon and...well, let me also say that in this way you can have a look at the kind of shoes she's wearing..and to me that is important

Shoe removals are definitely make the scene better. It will notify the viewers what they are going to expect. Besides, in real life, when you hear a clunk under the table, it is a good feeling cause you will know what to expect next.

I agree with you Nyllover, shoe remove adds so much to the scene. I prefer so because I think the scene is more complete viewing a shoe remove

I think it is important, because it shows what is going to happen next. Plus, I think it is somehow sensual, like the scene in Lady on the Bus. I loved how Sonia Braga slips her left foot out of her silver shoe. If a woman can take her shoe off without no one knowing about it, it adds to the secret seduction scene that is about to begin. Yes, those slip-ons were easy, but if it can be done, that is great.

No disrespect to you, FF, but to have a footsie scene in a movie, TV show or whatever WITHOUT shoe removal (depending on the screenwriter) is laughibly unsound. As the others have said, it makes the footsie moment more suprising and sensual, like Ridicule, Love Hotel All Service, Finalmente Soli, Once In Paris, and many others. I'm forced to agree with Ykantickleme... If a woman is wearing slip-on heels, pumps, or even mules, then it makes it ALL the more easier... and sexier.

Yes the shoe removal is great idea, especially when they first show her with a naughty expression and you know she is up to something. Then when we see the shoe removal, for guys like us, it instantly builds the anticipation of the footsie scene and you can only hope it will be a good one.....foot in the crotch a must!!

I still think the best shoe removal scene was Malice. Oh that was just skills man.....how she just slips out of it with the classic "clunk" sound on the wooden floor. Who was the director in that movie? I love him /her already.

My favorite was Threes Company the way she kick off her slingback with her other foot was CLASSIC!It was done in front of a live studio audience so they had to get it reight the first time THOSE ARE REAL SKILLS!

This is a tough question for me because I am so much into shoeplay. I think I like scenes where the guy who is the object of the footsie pulls the shoe off the lady or the lady's shoe starts to come off during the footsie scene. But a pretty foot is still very sexy and arousing.
