I was watching one of the news shows last week regarding Spanish soap operas (Telenovelas). I'm not sure which show it was, but I think it may have been Dateline or 20/20.

Anyway, as they were talking about the rise in popularity in the US for these shows they were showing different clips. One of the clips showed a guy sitting in a chair at his desk, and a woman approaches and sits on his desk facing him. She puts her foot (in shoe, with hose) on his crotch.

They also showed the characters on the clip that was posted here last week that looked like the Desperate Housewifes scene. That show actually is a Spanish version of Housewives.

These "telenovelas" may open up a new batch of scenes.

I hear ya, Hiker. And unlike U.S. soaps, Spanish soaps lasts only a few episodes. You may be lucky to catch a footsie or foot in crotch scene every so often. We ought to keep a big eye on those Telenovelas once in a while... I know I will.

I've seen a couple of the series' on Telemundo years ago when I had a TV. The plots are pretty straightforward so it's easy to follow along even if you don't understand Spanish.

The women are also very easy to look at. These Telenovelas are how I discovered Thalia and Adamari Lopez, both drop dead gorgeous actresses.

I would imagine there are a few scenes in this category that are waiting to be found. It will just take time.

After further research, I found that the scene in question is actually an American show called "Desire". It is on a FOX affiliate called "My Network TV", which is a channel full of American Telenovelas.

The scene I saw was on Nightline. If you click on the link below and choose the video about Telenovelas, you'll see the clip I mentioned above about half-way through. Maybe someone can catch an airing of this episode. I'm not sure how long they'll keep this link on the Nightline website, so check it out soon!

Good thing about Spanish novelas they only last a few months so new ones come and go so it's more scenes for us to look for.

I do speak some Spanish so I under stand some of what is being said.
