USA Today on High Heels

From Monday's paper.

The upshot of the article is that spike or stiletto type heels are out and thicker more stable heels are in. Perhaps this more comfortable style will lure more buyers?

Now if some shoemaker will just include a complimentary pair of RHT stockings with each high heel purchase we'd be in business.

As much as I like that idea, DP I do NOT think that's likely to happen. Pantyhose sales in the U.S. has been dismal since the mid 90's, although they're NOT going to go away anytime soon. Once a common trend has been broken, it will NEVER be mainstream again. I'm just thankful to the few women who still wear hosiery, like StockingFeet4You.
