She wore high heels now all the clopping is from boots. Them boot makers really have it bad for us

Yes, clopping from pumps sounds different from boots. The pump clopping is more light and delicate in comparison to the boots clopping which is more heavy and rough. Unfortunately in Greece boots rule nearly 100%.

It's been very very long time since I've last heard the magic sound of pump heels that made me turn automatically!

Here in New England, the boots are something of a seasonal necessity. But when the big chain shoe store has half the store set aside for womens' nearly-identical boots...
Though to be fair, they do the same thing in the summer for sandals.
