It doesn't really matter as long as she's playing. I've seen women do a better job dipping and dangling a pair of loafers than others do with mules.

I prefer a pump with about a three or four inch heel. Add hose and a tile or hardwood floor and I'm happy.

If I had to chose it would be closed pumps,low heel , or flat.The more covered the foot the more work she has to do slip off her shoes.

I prefer something she could easily slide in and out of...or better yet something that I could remove easily under the dinner table.
