Is there any way to save or download just a portion of a youtube video? There are some great videos in the "Accidentally found" thread in the Candid section, but some videos are 2 hours or longer in length but there may be only 30 seconds to a minute of fantastic shoeplay. Anybody know a simple way to save/download just a section of the video without downloading the whole video and then editing it? There is a site called TubeChop that lets you crop videos, but there is no way to download them, plus I can't get the site to work well for me. Any ideas?

Also, for those of you who post regularly in that thread, how in the world do you spot 30 seconds of shoeplay in a 2hr plus video? I've tried using the preview pane with no luck. I admit I don'y have the patience to sit through a video that long hoping for a glimpse of shoeplay. I want to contribute to the thread and wonder what tips secrets you guys have.

You do it for the love of shoeplay...but you nailed, it just takes patience. You should go back a year on this thread; some of us were sifting through 6-10 hours of videos from the Eastern European Election videos.
