Guy thinks he's playing footsie

In old movie "Paris Model" from 1953, there's an extensive scene where guy is in restaurant, I believe with his secretary, played by an aging Paulette Goddard. He keeps thinking he is playing footsie with her (both in shoes) but she has kept her feet back and he is playing with a chair leg. She moves the chair so he thinks her foot is moving. Then she finally stands up and he realizes what has been going on. Scene is only interesting because he is so gullible and happy when he thinks he is playing footsie. This scene may have inspired it's not really footsie scenes in later movies.
