Are wedge platforms making a comeback?

I see quite a few women wearing them lately which is awesome because they are dippable

In the previous Summer it seemed to me that wedge pumps and wedge slinback sandals were in decrease. The trend was in favour of strappy sandals (flat and high heeled) and strappy wedges. I really hope that straps will be out of fashion for the next summer!
