The other night I went to the local restaurant. I sat down at a booth and looked around. I soon noticed a group of people with a lady wearing beige colored flat pumps. She had her right leg crossed towards me and I kept waiting for her to slip that heel off. I waited and waited but nothing. Then she moved both feet under her chair and crossed at the ankles with left foot bent on the floor and the other propped up over it. Voila! The foot on the floor popped its heel out of the shoe. She left it like that for a few minutes, moving her foot slightly out of her shoe. I must have been staring. She then crossed her other foot and the same thing. Then she decided to cross right leg away from me, making it tough to see anything. Finally one of the people moved away and I could see more clearly. She had popped the heel and she was dangling!! Then she moved it and pressed it slightly against one of the poles that support the table. I had a nice clear view of her stockinged foot. Since her nearly vertical shoe was near the floor, I couldn't tell if the heel of the shoe was resting on the floor or not. I couldn't see any kind of label (bad viewing angle) I'm a label freak. It was sort of dark under there. But she left it like that for a good 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes or so, she lowered that foot, slipped her shoe back on and then crossed the other leg. She was wigging her toes and I thought I was in for another show. But to my disappointment, she did nothing and left soon after. If they had stayed longer I would bet she would have given me another nice show.
No; she never noticed cause I was sitting in back and to the side. But that is the first candid scene I have seenn in a long time. It wasn't outstanding but it was pretty good. These types of scenes are getting harder and harder to come by. Right place at the right time. Actually I might have seen even more had I gotten there earlier. Early bird gets the worm!!
