Dailymotion has its own problems, along with far fewer people posting. I still prefer YouTube, but anything I like I save ASAP.

Saving YouTube videos as soon as you see them and presumibly enjoy them is still the best way to go. I agree.

How do you save them? Are you saying you save them so that even if YT deletes them, you still have a copy of it?

Yes Mike....I use Freecorder software....free download off www.freecorder.com website....I have version 6......I'm sure there are other ways that I'm not aware of.

I use DownloadHelper - it's a nice free add-on for FireFox - saves a nice highquality mp4 to your hard drive. Helped me archive alot of good stuff, especially before the videos would be removed from YouTube.
