Here is a different kind of question; how do I post an avatar (pic)?

No prob Wsrfr.

1. Select a photo (jpg or gif) to use as an avatar.

2. Save it to your hard drive. The avatar cannot exceed 140 pixels in height and width and it cannot be larger than 20kb in size. You can check this out by opening the pic, putting your mouse pointer over the pic and clicking the right button. Look at the "size" and "dimensions" stats. You can use the simple MS Paint program on your Accessories filebox to resize the pic if necessary.

3. Once you have a properly sized avatar click on the "Profile" option under "User Controls" which is on the left side toolbar.

4. Scroll down until you see the "Avatar Control Panel". Hit the "Browse" button to look for the pic on your hard drive.

5. After you find your pic, select it and the address should show up in the box next to the "Browse" button.

6. Hit the "Select" button at the bottom of the Avatar Control Panel. This should upload your image. If there is a problem the next pop you see will tell you what is wrong.

There is also another way to have an avatar:

If you go on your profile (link on the left column), at the bottom of the page that will load you'll see a "show gallery" button. There you have thousands (more than 5000) avatars to choose from.

I tried to resize the pic (way to large) using Paint, but the computer says the jpg format is not supported. I am using Win2K.

I got it..I used an online resizing program to do it. Do you guys like it?? I can always pull it. This was totally candid. I have other angles too.

I would like to post more pics, but I see room for only 5. Starting an album is a little confusing. Tell me how to do it and I will post maybe a dozen. BTW, those pics were just taken. I have not been hoarding them to myself!

You can use ImageShak to post any number you like. Read the help here:

Yes, please post more of this set.

Candid shots of the insole of the pump are very rare, so I'd like to see this in full size.
