I just found this forum and I couldn't resist to register myself since I'm a big Footfetish-fan.

Well.. I've read alot about this fetish and it seems to be a very common fetish I believe.

I don't know how I got interessted in feet, I just think they're so sexy. And I'd love to be someones footslave.

But now, the hard part.. I'm 18 years old and I still live w/ my mom and dad. And I've alot of footfetish sites, pics and vids on the computer. My dad is using this computer everyday, so I'm kinda "scared" that he'll find all my stuff that I keep in secret.

Should I tell them about my fetish or not? It's pretty hard to hide everything on the computer

All i can suggest you...is just be careful and try to hide things. My parents don't know about my footfetish, and i'm 30 years old (nearly 31 ) and married... i don't think there is any reason why you should talk to them about a so intimate stuff... unless you are usually very open with them about sexual related things.

You are not alone my friend. I have lots of pics and clips and I afraid of the same thing..Luckily I have my own password protected computer but my mother wants to learn and use the computer. Isuggest she get her own but she doesn't have the money to get another one. So it puts me into a dilemma. She is very conservative and would not understand. My father knew I had this fetish and thought I was realllllllly weird. He even poked fun at me and often ridiculed me. I do some pretty other strange things connected with this fetish and I am so embarrassed about it that I wouldn't even tell a psychologist even though it is one of most common fetishes around.

I think my friends know and they also think it is pretty weird.

You might try putting all those clips and pics on a separate USB hard disc and hiding it and then pulling it out and viewing the pics/clips for your pleasure. That is what I do and so far so good. Nothing on the main computer.

Welcome to the site, it is one of the most common fetishes to have so you are not weird. I would try to get my own pc, they are relatively inexpensive now especially if you get one rebuilt. Your dad might know, but not say anything. There are worse things to into in this day and age.

I agree that computers have gotten very cheap. maybe that is your best bet. They might not be the fastest things around, but they are more than enough for a newbie. There are tons of them on craigslist and even on ebay. I got my own on ebay and it is just about as fast as any library computer. Now I want to make it even faster! (never satisfied) I don't know where you are located, but used computers are all over the place. And they are cheap....that is the nice thing about computers and technology. what was new and fast just 2 years ago is practically obsolete. I think we can thank the war between intel and amd for that.

I think the USB drive is the way to go if you don't have room for a computer and monitor or don't have the dough though. And it will never show up on the main computer unless you transfer files.

If you run XP, then there is a way to "hide" those things you don't want anything else to see. Its called permissions but it takes a little while to learn. There is also encryption. But the simplest thing is probably the extra external notebook drive or a cheap computer.

I live away from home part of the year and my mother wants access to the computer. But I password protected it and I don't want to give her the password. Not because there is "personal" stuff on there but because I password protected it and the password is "danglepumps". What a dumb ass idea.

I wouldn't tell your parents unless they are pretty liberal and open minded and then its still risky. Its even worse than telling them about your "normal" sex life because nearly everyone has sex (well almost everyone) but many still view this as somewhat abnormal. Websites like this have provided emotional support but I still view it as somewhat abnormal.

If YOU feel it is abnormal and wish to stop it, that is a different story. You are 18 so if that means you are an adult, then I would visit a psychologist. There is also a ton of stuff on the web. I have read most of it and it describes me to a T. But I have been this way since I was small and I don't think it is even possible to stop it now. But I wish I could.

I don't want to get too wordy here and I don't want to repeat the obvious, but NEVER tell a new girl that you have a foot fetish. Its not like telling them you like sex. The reaction is somewhat unpredictable.

Hello mate, im pretty new here too. Im a little fussy when it comes to feet. I like feet which are fairly chubby and has even length toes. A short stubby fifth toe with hardly any nails puts me off.

As for the pc problem, I use to have this problem until I bought two more second hand computers and gone wireless. I have a pc set up in my room now with wireless broadband, so I can do pretty much what I want and when I want. I have a laptop which is wireless as a backup

I a firm believer in buying a portable drive (they make them mini sized). If they learn to go to search and click on pictures, then all you have saved will show up. On a portable dive no one will see them unless the drive is plugged in.

It is a very common problem you have and unfortunately there is no universal solution... Some advice is nice, but don't take anyones advice 100%. Your own circumstances, relations with family and friends are most important.

For example I don't feel embarassed about my fetsih at all! Ok, its different for me because I'm a girl, but then my cousin is not embarassed about his fetish at all (and he had this fetish for a long time). In fact he "infected" me with this fetish because he is so cool about it.

But of course, it depends on what kind of friends you have. I guess many people would laugh at you no matter how cool you are about it. So be very careful, if you ever tell about it to the wrong person there will be no going back. "The words flies out as a sparrow, but comes back as a bull" as they say in my country. Or there is another one with a sparrow, but a bit different: "The word is not a sparrow - once it flies, you can't bring it back". (OMG, I didn't even know I had so many words of wisdom in me! )

Oh yes, about computers. I have my own laptop (and yes, I have there a huge collection of pictures of feet, my feet, me naked, other girls naked me and some naked men too! ) but many of my friends often use it. So my cousin put in a program called "Folder Guard" for me. It looks like a tin soldier with a hat! It is very cool actually. You can put a password on any folder you like and this little soldier protects it. And you can hide that soldier too, so that noone can see it. And you can hide this program too. Then I just press ctrl+shift+f and it asks for a password. After i finish to watch my naked pictures, I click on a little picture of a tin soldier and click "enable protection" and it all disappears as like it was never there! Pure magic

But it is very important not to forget to do that last thing, because I once forgot and then I couldn't sleep because I didn't know if my friends saw it all!.. But then after some time we been talking about a lot of things and I told them abut my fetsih so it doesn't matter anymore!

I'm 24 and I am very paranoid about anything on my computer
so I found this little freeware tool http://www.truecrypt.org/
you can create files to encrypt and if you mount the files you got a virtual harddrive
or you can encrypt a whole partition (but it has to be empty because the format will change)
and you can hide that partition... nice one
you can encrypt it with eg. 256 bit which is very safe ... you can use a large password and files to help en/decrypt the volume
