Decent Heelpop/Quasi-Dangle in Dark Tower (1988)

Not a great film, but at 1:06:20, the camera gets a nice shot of the female lead, Jenny Agutter, passed out on a couch, one of her pumps askew, in nylons, barely on her foot as she lays there, splayed out. Very nice shot of her arch and the cut starts with that before panning up her leg: absolutely killer arch.

There's an earlier scene near the start of the film (05: 50 or so) with her in hose and underwear, but the shoe action was a treat.

Seems like a film that would have some shoe loss, especially with a certain shot at the end and lots of running in heels, but those are the only really noteworthy scenes.

The movie's free on Tubi if you're of a mind to check it out. Be warned: not a successful movie on a creative level, with some funky screenwriting, lazy editing, and extremely uneven performances (bizarre leading man, a criminally under-used Kevin McCarthy, and Theodore Bikel doing an incredible job with the bizarre material he was given).

Thanks for the heads up. All of these old 80s movies are probably a treasure trove. There's a movie called Street Trash I think. It's one of those body horror cult classics. There is a scene with a woman who is drunk and leaving a restaurant with a date. Every step she takes for a good fifteen seconds you can see her heel slip from her stiletto pump. It caught my attention quickly. I tried looking the actress up in other movies but she barely got any work. But I imagine that was how she wore her pumps...loose.

Here's the series HUNTER - the episode is called Flashpoint. Start watching at 21 minutes and 01 seconds. The actress is a no-namer. She was in an episode of Threes Company as a hot waitress at the Regal Begal but she wasn't shoeplaying or anything. I just looked her up and found she was in nothing else. Plus she probably isn't a shoeplayer. This dangling scene in the episode is probably just a stylistic choice.

That's the highest quality version of that dangle from Hunter I've seen, thanks for sharing! I just found out about Street Trash when RedLetterMedia did that Re:View of it with JRT. Looks like she's even singly shod for a second when climbing into the tire-house or onto the car-seat "couch" inside, might check it out sometime!
