What is the absolute best site to rip a vid from youtube that does not require an extension or download to your computer.

All the sites I'd been using (y2Mate, etc.)have quit working, very frustrating. I've been having to use jDownloader2(download), and even that is spotty these days. Rarely, the Video Download Helper extension with Firefox is able to grab something I can't get any other way.
I tried 9convert, didn't work for me. Seems YT has the upper hand these days

Does anyone know why some youtube channels you can download from and others it says invalid URL.

Is it a security thing? Like some news channels are more difficult to download than, say, just a youtuber streamer.

but they all have a URL right, so why can't you rip them? is there a way to get the valid URL?
