Foot Fetish (On a serious note)

Post by FootObsessedWriter »

Has anyone here ever thought that we might have something wrong with us?
Why are we obsessed with feet?
Has anyone found themselves crossing the line between fetish and obsession?
I've fought with this most of my life...

This topic has been discussed before, but I'll contribute...

No, there is nothing wrong with us. Maybe 10 years ago people would and have called us crazy. But foot fetishism is more mainstream. Now look at all the celebrities admitting they have a feet thing. It's weird to some people, but I'm sure there was a time when looking at women's legs, butt, breasts were considered taboo, but it became accepted. Now we can be more open in real life... not just the internet. I'm sure most of us kept it a secret... I know I did. I might have told one person after he told me he was into feet too... LOL!

Look at all the foot fetish sites now, especially this one. All the footsie scenes we have gathered from around the world, so there is a big "foot fetish following". Footsie is all over the world and very appreciated by being displayed in movies and TV. Most the footsie scenes are works of art in my eyes.

But to be honest, if someone said they had an elbow or eyebrow etc. fetish, I would look at them weird at first... BUT ACCEPT their fetish for a lesser appreciated part of the body. I would also sympathize for the ridicule they might receive. I would just say "as long as you are not bothering anybody and that's your thing... than more power to you".

Just to add, yes there are times where I get obsessed and will spend hours Googling for footsie scenes, or looking for hosed dippin' in the cooler months, but I realized that I have to "turn it off". Like the saying goes, "It's BAD having too much of a GOOD thing".

I have no idea why it's feet. It started from that LEGENDARY Three's Company footsie scene. That was my first erection when I was 6. I don't know if its random or herititary gene to love feet. I never noticed any of my other family members into feet or maybe they were keeping it a secret too.

May be there is a little something wrong with us.
Even if I am a little crazy I am still harmless, and unimposing.

I always had a thing for a nice pair of legs, but didn't have a foot fetish until one of my girlfriends stuck her foot between my legs to get my attention when I was ignoring her. She kept going once she saw my reation, and how helpless I was to respond. It only happened that one time, and I was too embarrassed to bring it up.

As to the comment about our secret desires becoming mainstream, I see it becoming more prevalent in the media, but people are still too embarrased to come out of the closet on this topic . . . . Ah, but maybe someday . . . . :-)

It certainly seems peculiar, but like mentioned before, there was probably a time when average fetishes that we take for granted, (boobs, butts, legs) were probably a bit weirder to the general public as well. I'm not saying that feet may one day be normal as well, but it's not like we're admiring sadistic death and rape. People have fetishes for women smoking...and that has always been kind of a sexy image especially back in the fifties..(in which I did not live, but I'm attempting to brainstorm some reasons why all of those old actresses used to smoke all the time to the camera). I think our fetish weird and unaccpted in today's society, and therefore, I haven't told anyone who knows my real name. But even tho it seems a bit weird, my definition of a "problem" is admiring blood spatter on walls and rape. At least we're in the same ballpark in that we admire attractive women. Satin sheets, stockings, whips and leather shoes, boob cleavage and crossed legs, what's the f-----g difference? That's my say. I'm not masturbating to a car wreck..yah know?

I can only speak for myself. I don't worry anymore about what's "normal", and I couldn't give less than a damn what other people think about it. I don't consider myself defective, different or strange. I am simply me. A is A, B is B and Dead Parrot is Dead Parrot, nothing more, nothing less. I accept myself as I am and work with what I have.

Again I can only speak for myself. I have long since stopped caring about this as well. Why question something that brings me pleasure and doesn't involve violence or coercion?

If this is something you are curious about then I would suggest Googling on "fetishism" and the online text of "The Sex Life of the Foot and Shoe". Mostly dry reading but it should answer some of your questions.

The definition of "crossing the line" is different for every person. You should ask yourself how common your definition is when compared to what you see here and on other boards. Then put that into perspective and reevaluate your situation.

Foot fetish (one a serious note)

Post by wsrfr »

I have thought about this a LOT. I have had this thing for feet and shoeplay since I was about 5. I am now 55. I don't know why I have this thing for feet and shoes. Honestly, my personal feelings are that I wish I didn't have this fetish. But it also depends on the degree of the fetish; whether it can be kept under control and in perspective OR whether it practically runs your life. My fetish is pretty strong and I have had to take extraordinary measures to keep it under control. I won't mention what those measures are here. It also complicates relationships with women since many women neither understand it nor want to.

An odd thing occured a few years ago. I met and "hired" a lady to make a custom foot video for me. She was unusually pretty by my standards. Nice feet too; but the odd thing is that 90% of my attention wasn't on the feet, they were on the rest of her. She wanted to discuss the "shoot" but I was more into talking with her! I was smitted I guess. I need to get out more!

This made me wonder how many closet foot guys (and maybe gals) there are out there.

I think admiring a womans body is like admiring a rainbow. Some people like certain colors or body parts over others but it is normal just to admire it.

It's a preference to like feet which is normal. Some people prefer dating Asians or red heads or blondes, etc.

I am still a little spooked about my fetish but I do feel a little more confortable.
