REQUEST - What Product to Download
Hello guys!
I want to edit some videos that I have downloaded from Youtube. I just want to trim 1 Hour videos to be shorter, showing only the portions where shoeplay is visible.
What should I download that will make this very easy for me? What is reliable?

I use DaVinci Resolve. The free version is pretty robust and can certainly handle more than basic editing. But I started doing exactly what you describe in your post, and Resolve was free, easy to learn, and met my needs and then some. In about twenty minutes I was editing down lengthy videos pretty easily. You'll find plenty of tutorials and getting started videos on youtube.

I'm using Movavi Video Editor. The learning curve is very low and you can export to YouTube and Google Drive very easy.
I would recommend though if you are gonig to be editing YT vids, I would get ahold of yt-dlp. It's a free app developed on github. I use it to download the highest quality clip available from the channel - much better than any of the extensions I've tried in Firefox or Chrome.

I use yberlink Powerdirector. WONDERFUL program and was easier for me to use without being taught. Unlike Vegas or Adobe editors.
