In 1962 movie "Guns of Darkness" Caron and David Niven are trapped with an older guy in a car in quicksand. Caron and Niven climb over the roof of the car (a station wagon) after getting out back and standing on tailgate. They go down in the quicksand and sort of swim ashore, with Caron making it first by grabbing on a very frail looking weed and pulling herself out. They then notice the old guy didn't make it over the car. His foot got caught at the edge of the tailgate and he couldn't make it to the car roof. Niven goes back and gets the guy and they do the swim. When they are near shore, Caron extends her leg out and tells Niven to grab her foot. He does so and sort of uses her like a rope to pull himself out as she holds on to the weed. Then they haul the old guy out (he does not get to use her foot). Ridiculous scene with her feet in the goop but still kind of compelling.
